Adrian Harrold, born 1979, Anglo-Irish painter based in Hastings, East Sussex. Studied Fine Art at Brighton University (Hcat campus). Predominately working in acrylics and mixed media. Draws influences from travels, film and commercial illustration. Many of his images lend themselves to having the colours altered to suit any interior decor and colour scheme.
"My art is inspired by emotions - both my own and those of others. I attempt to capture something of what we are and something of what we would like to be as human beings."
Much of
Paul Cooklins’s inspiration is drawn from his travels and surroundings. From the gentle landscapes of his current home in Suffolk to the striking juxtaposition of technology and nature that is particularly prevalent in Asia, where he lived for 8 years. It is these experiences that give rise to the fascinating coexistence of colour and shape in his work.
Cooklin's unique style of art is created using layers or photographic images and digital media combined to create, in some cases, a complex array of light, shadow and form.
