Well, we had a fantastic response to our 'Enter Your Canvas Photo' competition and we've seen some amazing photos.

But, we pleased to announce our winner - Julie Tattersfield, who sent us a fabulous photo taken in Antigua on her honeymoon. What made this extra special was that she had it printed as a huge waterproof tiled canvas and it hangs in pride of place on a wall in her garden. It looks stunning!

Fantastic response to this competition and we've seen some amazing photos so far, but please keep them coming - we love seeing your canvas prints and hearing what inspired you to put your favourite photos on canvas.

Several months ago we were asked by the PDSA to provide a prize in the form of a £70 Canvas Print voucher for an animal photo competition, Pet Protectors Photographers Award 2011, for their under 18 members, which they ran throughout the Summer.

Congratulations to Samuel Hood, aged 14, who wins a £70 voucher to put his winning photo onto canvas. The judges loved to see Samuel's dog, Molly, getting lots of exercise outdoors and enjoying splashing around in the sea.

I'm sure your photo of Molly will look absolutely superb as a canvas print Samuel and I hope you enjoy showing it off in pride of place hanging on the wall at home!

Series 7 kicks off today at 2pm on ITV. There are 180 episodes this series, compared to the 70 odd last series, and not surprisingly the teams still have a few weeks left of filming around the UK. Could your home be one of them?

CanvasRus is proud to be working again with Noel’s HQ on Sky1. After the enormous success of the show’s secret nursery makeover back in Sept we were approached again, for the new series, to donate canvas photos for the North West Air Ambulance Team.

Noel’s HQ is back by popular demand. Its ethos is all about inspiring Britain, as a nation, to make a difference and demonstrating to people that you can make positive changes in society. Each week Noel and a host of celebrities cut through administrative red tape, organise the donation of time, services and products all in aide of surprising and rewarding those who work tirelessly for others.

Last Saturday’s Air Ambulance feature, based in Blackpool, was an opportunity for the local community to say thank you for the fantastic job the team do. In recognition of this good work the staff received a complete makeover to their crew room and kitchen. Hung on the walls of these rooms were two canvas pictures each created from a photograph and made up into 16x20" (41x51cm) canvases. Please see image above.
